Earlier this year I mentioned a library for gif playback with very low memory usage called YLGifImage.
Here’s an open source library that provides a number of nice functions for animations called JMAnimatedImageView from Jérôme Morissard.
JManimatedImage view allows you to create interactive animations, automatically generate a carousel of images from a provided set of images, and low memory gif playback. The library provides full control of the image view on playback so you can manually drive animations:
