Previously I mentioned a few interesting components for creating pop-out widget style selection menus such as DLWidgetMenu which features customizable layouts, and most recently GHWidgetMenu which allows the menu to vary based on context it is selected from.
Here’s an open source component for creating beautiful pop-out selection menus called from a long tap called YLLongTapShare from Yong Li.
YLLongTapShare allows you to specify the menu selections and icons, has callbacks for the menu item selected and provides a nice “done” image for when a choice is made.
You can find YLLongTapShare on Github here.
You can find the design that inspired YLLongTapShare on Dribble here.
Note: Before someone asks – You will need to implement the desired sharing functionality.
A nice implementation of a beautiful menu design.
