Previously I mentioned an example showing how to use the iOS 7 barcode scanner to identify many different types of barcodes.
Here’s an open source component from Tony Mann that aims to further simplify barcode scanning called TFBarcodeScanner.
To use TFBarcodeScanner you simply need to create a view controller subclassed from TFBarcodeViewController, and there are special options allowing you to show and hide any special user interface elements that you would like the user to see when scanning barcodes.
