Last week I mentioned a Xcode nice plugin for displaying the full issue within Xcode’s issue navigator.
Here’s a plugin submitted by Wojtek Czekalski that adds tags to your source control menu and provides a nice simple interface to Xcode for viewing, adding and removing Git tags for a project so you no longer need to go to the console to mark your important commits.
As the readme states the WCGitTagsPlugin provides a GUI within Xcode simplifying the following git commands:
– git tag
– git tag x
– git tag -a x -m “x”
– git push –tags
– git fetch –tags
And here’s an image from the readme showing an example of a marked commit in the plugin:
You can find WCGitTagsPlugin on Github here.
A nice plugin for enhancing Xcode’s Git capabilities.
Added to the Xcode plugins listing.
