I’ve mentioned a number of tutorials explaining the basics of some of the new APIs added in iOS 7 such as Sprite Kit, UIKit Dynamics, and the iBeacon API.

Here’s a tutorial from Keith Harrison explaining the basics of one of the great new additions added with the iOS 7 SDK, the Speech Synthesizer API.

Currently available with the speech API are 36 voices covering many languages, and accents, Keith’s tutorial guides you through the creation of a simple app which allows you to choose a voice, and speak a string of text at various speeds, and pitches.

You can find the tutorial on the Use Your Loaf site here, and the example code can be found on Github here.

A nice tutorial and example on using the new speech API.
