I’ve mentioned some great open source tools for debugging views such as hierarchy viewer.
Here’s a premium tool for runtime debugging of iOS apps called Spark Inspector from Foundry376 and Ben Gotow who previously released an excellent open source objective-c library for saving layered PSD files.
Some of the interesting features Spark Inspector provides:
– A 3D Debugging perspective for your views
– A notification monitor showing notifications when sent
– Live mirroring of your app in the spark inspector
– The ability to modify view properties at run time
Here’s an image from the homepage demo video showing Spark Inspector in action:
You can find Spark Inspector on the homepage here with a 30 day trial.
You might also want to check out Reveal App which is created for the same purpose.
Thanks to Christopher for the submission.
