Understanding iOS crash reports can be extremely difficult and even though Apple has written basic documentation it is extremely helpful to see some actual crash reports being analyzed.
Here’s an in-depth tutorial from Soheil Moayedi Azarpour that covers crash report basics much like the Apple documentation, but also provides advanced analysis of some actual iOS crash reports.
The guide goes through how to identify the different areas of a report, and some common exception codes before going in-depth and analyzing some crash reports created by specific bugs.
You can read the in-depth guide here.
You also might want to take a look at the WWDC 2010 videos (Developer login required).
A nice guide if you’re having trouble deciphering Apple crash reports and want some real examples.
