I’ve mentioned several open source controls for creating side panels inspired by the Facebook and Path apps, and here’s another that extends the features of many of those controls.
This control known as JASIdePanels has been used by Scribd within their apps and features a very clean API, can work with storyboards, responds to sliding gestures, handles rotations, and provides a UIViewController category allowing you to easily manipulate the panels.
Here’s an image showing JASidePanels in action:
You can find JASidePanels repository page on Github here.
Included in the source an example showing how to set up JASidePanels programmatically and information on how to use it with storyboards is on the Github page.
