A couple of weeks ago I mentioned a great open source iOS UI control that allows you to create a UISwitch with a totally customized look by using images.
If a switch doesn’t suit your interface, but possibly an expanding button does here’s a control called DDExpandableButton that allows you to make customizable expanding buttons that is inspired by the iOS camera flash app.
You can change use an image for labeling, change the colors and spacing, and borders, and set the animations on and off.

The example doesn’t work straight out as it is made for an older version of Xcode, but it does work after automatically updating the project and removing the link to the non-existent Readme.markdown file.
