UIPageControl is one of those controls that lends itself to customization and over the past few years there have been several custom paging controls released.
While iOS 6 has gained a few more customization options in iOS 6 with the UIAppearance proxy there is still some need for further customization.
Today I came across an excellent control known as SMPageControl that acts as a drop in replacement for UIPageControl allowing easy customization objects for changing the size, spacing and alignment and even allowing you to change the image shown for each paging dot.
