Not too long ago I mentioned an excellent control allowing you to place a progress bar within the status bar . I’ve also mentioned some other opens source controls that have now become outdated or removed.
Here’s a new control that allows you to easily change the text in the status bar. Something else that makes this control different is that you can set the duration of your message then it neatly slides off the screen and is replaced by the original status bar.
There are also some extra delegate methods so you can perform custom actions at specific times such as when the status bar is tapped, or when a message is shown and removed from the status bar.
