Managing device identifiers through the iOS dev center can get extremely tedious.

Matt Thompson of Heroku, and one of the developers of the popular networking library AFNetworking has created an open source command line tool that comes in the form of a Ruby Gem that makes this process much easier.

This gem provides the ability to gather details about your devices, apps, certificates, and you can quickly add devices.

Here’s an example of how you might add 2 devices:

ios devices:add "iPad 2"=def456 "iPad 3"=ghi789 ..

You can install the gem using  gem install cupertino and you can find full documentation on the Github repository here.

A very hand library with more commands still to come.
