Reachability is something that you will need to test for time and time again within iOS apps.
Apple has provided sample code for testing reachability, but with the updates to iOS 5 adding automatic reference counting, and the addition of GCD this code from July 2010 is no longer up to date.
Today I came across an excellent library for testing reachability that is ARC compatible with a very clean syntax and utilizes blocks and Grand Central Dispatch making it easy to dispatch updates to the main thread or a background thread.
The library is by Tony Million and you can find it along with usage examples on Github here.
A very nice and clean solution for testing reachability within iPhone and iPad apps.
