I’ve posted about some excellent libraries for developing augmented reality apps such as the excellent free license Qualcomm augmented reality library QCAR.
Recently the developers of another library to add augmented reality into an app contacted me and asked if I could mention their library. This is a specialized library that allows you to change your MKMapView’s into 3D augmented reality map views.
This image really from their site really sums things up well:
A free license is available with some small branding (a premium license is also available). You will need to request a developer key from their site (further info provided when you download). A number of apps are already using the library.
The library is 3DAR and you can find further info and download on their website here.
Looks like a great library for any app that uses map kit!
