Open Source iOS UITableView Replacement W/Simpler API, Terrific Style, And Blocks Based Events
Last year I mentioned an open source UITableView replacement library called MGBox that provided a very stylish and customizable UITableView replacement with a simple API, and animated cell reordering.
MGBox developer Matt Greenfield has released a significantly updated version called MGBox2. MGBox2 contains all the features of MGBox, but in addition adds support for grid views, a markup language for rich text, a blocks based API for gesture events and more.
Here’s an image from the readme showing MGBox2 in action:
You can find MGBox2 on Github here.
You can find an example showing how to use MGBox2 along with JSONModel to create a good-looking Youtube search app over at Touch Code Magazine.
An excellent UITableView alternative.
