With iOS 5 and iCloud it became relatively easy to add in document loading from the web. The problem is that many users are using services other than iCloud to store their files.
So here’s a component that allows you to quickly add in the capability of using files from many different online services.
The component allows you to gather files many different services including image, video, zip and document formats from many different sources including among others the iTunes library, iCloud, Google Drive, SkyDrive and DropBox.
Update: So far DropBox and CloudApp are operational.
All done using a very slick looking custom picker.
Here’s an image showing the picker and some of the available sources from the readme:
The library/control is DZDocumentsPickerController from Dzen Interactive and can be found on Github here.
A great component for quickly adding in file loading capability with a nice interface.
