Update: 56 Apps Now On Open Source iPhone and iPad Apps List
For some time I have maintained a listing of open source iPhone apps on this site. This latest update adds 5 new apps bringing the total up to 56.
UPDATE: List updated – earlier database issues fixed.
The apps featured in this latest update are:
- Camlingual: A sign translation app (take a picture of a sign – the app translates it using an online service)
- Dozuki: An interactive how-to manual app from iFixit (yes, those guys famous for tearing up iPhones and iPads)
- Wikipedia Mobile: The official app Wikipedia app for iOS devices.
- Gas Guide: An interactive book app for medical students.
- RPI Shuttle Tracker: An app tracking buses around the RPI school.
You can find the apps on the open source iOS apps list.
If you’ve written or have found an app to add to the list please submit it here.

Hi, sorry about that. Had an odd database issue that only affected that post (likely because of too many revisions) and the updates were vanishing (although they showed for me logged in last night).
Fixed now!
Thank you very much for your quick handling !
