Hi Dean, the book works with latest SDK, but it's not meant as a thorough cover everything type of book so it doesn't go through and cover all the libraries, and apis.

What it does is explain the fundamentals in a really straight forward step-by-step manner. So whatever Apple comes out with next you can learn how to use. If you're in Apple's developer program there are dozens of examples illustrating 3.0 functionality. This book will allow you to understand examples quickly once you go through the lessons.
